More than 10 years ago, I started mentoring this guy.
And somehow after all these years, Jake has found his way back to Platinum Ed.
If you’ve been around here for a while, you might already recognise him. And if you don’t…you’ll be seeing a little more of him around here.
He’s always had a brain for tech, systems and finding a better way to do things, which is going to come in very handy around here 😂
There’s something pretty special about watching people you’ve worked alongside grow, leave, build their own experiences…and then find their way back home again.
It makes me think about what we’re actually building in our services. Are we creating places people grow…or places they escape from?
Because here’s the thing about early childhood leaders rarely talk about: your best people will leave. That’s not failure. That’s growth.
The real question is whether they’d ever want to come back...
