Tony Robbins + Steven Bartlett in the same room… how could I ever resist? 
I went into these two days expecting to learn.
I didn’t expect how much I would think.
I spend so much of my working life facilitating, answering questions, solving complex problems and helping other leaders see what they can’t always see themselves. Which i love.
But for two days, I got to sit in someone else’s room and simply be the learner.
And bloody hell, I needed it.
I didn’t love every speaker or agree with every idea. But isn’t that part of learning?
Listen. Question. Take what challenges you. Leave what doesn’t. And when something wasn’t for me, I opened my notebook and used the space to think about my own life and business.
Tony Robbins had me thinking about the patterns we repeat. Gary Brecka completely hooked me on health and longevity. Steven The Diary Of A CEO - With Steven Bartlett reminded me to keep investing in the things nobody can take away; our knowledge and skills.
And John Lee made me realise I know approximately 4% of what I thought I knew about AI.
But across all those different perspectives, I kept noticing the same thing.
For a business event, there was an awful lot of conversation about life.
Health. Energy. Freedom. Relationships. Presence. And the people we surround ourselves with.
It made me stop and ask: Am I actually clear on what I’m working so hard to create?
As leaders, we’re very good at seeing what everyone else needs. Children. Families. Teams. The service. The next thing.
But when was the last time you stopped long enough to ask:
What do I want?
I don’t have my answer neatly packaged yet.
But I’ve come home with better questions, a LOT more curiosity, and a reminder to keep putting myself in rooms where I’m not the expert.
Different rooms. people. and perspectives.
That’s where we grow.
