Our very first Leadership Reset Day!

Aug 04, 2026
On Friday 24th July 2026 we welcomed 17 Leaders into the Home of Early Childhood Leaders.

They all came from different services, roles and backgrounds. With one thing in common, they are all leaders in early childhood holding onto the enormous weight of the role. Some for years.

Something really special happens when you put a room full of people who are used to carrying everyone else… in a room where, for once, they don’t have to. 💕

And I think that’s what I’ll remember most about our very first Leadership Reset Day.

A room full of early childhood leaders walked through our doors that morning, each carrying their own stories, pressures, hopes and probably a few things nobody else in the room knew about yet.

And for one day, it was about them.

We talked. We laughed. We listened. We created. We ate together. We smashed some plates. We cheered each other on.

There were big belly laughs, a few tears, things said out loud for the first time and some really beautiful breakthroughs.

But what I loved most was watching what happened between the people in the room.

People who had never met listening to each other’s stories.

Someone sharing something brave and another person realising, “me too”

People celebrating breakthroughs that weren’t their own.

And a room becoming a place where it felt safe to just be human.

I hope every person who joined us knows that they made this day what it was.

Their honesty. Their stories. Their laughter. The way they showed up for themselves and for each other.

And I hope some of what happened in that room stays with them for a really long time.

Something they put down.

Something they realised.

Someone they met.

A little piece of themselves they found again.

Or simply the reminder that they don’t have to carry everything alone.

To the beautiful humans who trusted us with a little piece of themselves that day, thank you. 🙏

I hope years from now, when you see these photos, you remember less about what we did…

and more about how you felt, what you left behind and the person you committed to becoming.
