We see children as unique and capable individuals, with their own interests, talents, skills, and ideas and we as educators value, respect and appreciate this uniqueness.

Platinum Education is a privately owned centre that caters for 28 children per day. We aim to provide high quality play based care in our early education and care centre, for children aged 6 weeks to school age, for a minimum of 2 days per week.

The centre is open between 7am – 6pm, Monday to Friday. We are closed for all public holidays and for 2 weeks over the Christmas / New Year period.

We are licensed by our governing body, who regularly visits the centre to ensure that a high standard of care for your child is maintained

We welcome families and children to our service and endeavour to create an extension of the home environment. By working together with families we will provide an environment that promotes quality care and education to every individual child. We believe that education is a continually evolving process that enriches and empowers children.

The mission of our service is to provide quality education and care that is inclusive and recognises diversity, in a caring and supportive environment. Each child is encouraged to aim for personal excellence and to develop skills of independent learning and critical thinking in a co-operative learning environment.

Leeza Browne - Company Director - ECT

I love learning. I think that’s why I love teaching. It’s a conduit for empowering others.

With over a decade of experience across various teaching and management roles in the early childhood industry. I have obtained my bachelor of Education (Early childhood) and love helping those around me become the absolute best they can be. I believe that I have a talent for recognising and developing potential in people.

In my personal life, I’m passionate about spending time with family and friends. I love to travel (when time allows), walk outdoors, read a good book, host dinner parties and you can find me many nights a week cooking meals with a healthy twist.

I love to ensure that everything I do, whether personally or professionally, is seen out from start to finish. I get enthusiastic about making sure things are organised and I believe in constantly challenging myself to embrace new learning experiences to ensure I am the best I can be in order to assist others to thrive and succeed. I’m always keen to jump in and do anything that I can to make sure my goals and the goals of the others including our amazing children are being accomplished.

My personality test tells me I’m motivated and inspired by being around people, so I am always pleased to make new connections and cant wait to get to know you and your family.

Our Team

Miss Lauren - Diploma Trained Educator

I began my career in Early Childhood Education in 2011 where I completed my certificate 3.
I then furthered my studies and finished my Diploma in Early Childhood Education in 2014.

I began working at Platinum Education in 2018, where I was given the opportunity to further grow and develop in the Early Childhood Education Sector.

I decided to work in Early Childhood Education as I have always had a love for being able to assist children to learn and grow to their full potential. I enjoy the challenges that are faced on a daily basis and finding new and creative ways to get the children engaged in learning and most of all having FUN!

In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I am quite an adventurous person who loves to explore new places and hidden gems within nature.

I look forward to getting the chance to meet all of the wonderful families who attend Platinum Education and the families within our community.

Miss Kristen - Studying Diploma Educator

I began my career in early childhood education when I started my certificate III traineeship in 2011, I was then given the opportunity to come and join the team at platinum education and begin my studies towards my diploma. I love being able to get to know the children and families individually and learn about their interests and abilities!

After two years working in the industry, I had my first little boy, four years later I had my second! My weekends and weeknights consist of wrangling up two wild little boys, baking, cleaning and organising anything I can get my hands on!

My favourite things to do are always messy! play dough, slime and free painting. I love watching the children get creative be that through craft experiences, singing or dancing, I also love gardening I enjoy getting the children involved in the garden with plating seeds, re-potting plants and watering the garden, Together were learning the best ways to compost, its still a work in progress though!

I look forward to getting to know all children individually and watching them grow and thrive at platinum education!

Miss Jess - Cert 3 Trained Educator

In 2016 I started a certificate 3 traineeship in childcare and haven’t looked back. I have since joined the team at Platinum Education and have loved getting to know the children and their families.

From a young age I have taken part in dancing and competitive cheer leading as well as being able to teach younger peers as well. I love being able to share this with the children at platinum education and seeing it bring them the same joy that it brings me.

Since starting at Platinum Education I have learnt so much about other cultures and traditions within our community. One of my favourite things as an educator is being able to learn about each child as a unique individual and find out more about their lives, culture and interests.

Coming to work every day is so rewarding as I get to see so many happy faces and watch them grow and learn.

Miss Jade - Cert 3 Trained Educator

I have always found a great passion working with children even from a young age which is why I decided to go into the child care industry.

My career in childcare began in 2016 when I began my certificate 3 via a traineeship which I completed in 2017. This allowed me to study a course I was passionate about while also working full time and being able to be around children.

I greatly enjoy spending time with children and love being able watch them grow and develop. Being able to witness a child achieve a task or a skill they have been working towards is one of the most rewarding things in life.

I do plan to further my education in the future by completing my diploma and then moving on to university to study Early childhood and primary education. I have previously studied my certificate 3 and 4 in Disabilities and also hope to pick up sign language in the future.

In my time away from work I am very family orientated and greatly enjoy spending as much time humanly possible with my family. This includes my 3 younger siblings and my little cousins who I have been fortunate enough to contribute to their growth and development throughout the years as a sister and cousin but also as a friend. I am described by friends and family. as being bubbly, friendly, kind and easy going.

I look forward to having the opportunity to get know you and your beautiful families.
